Milbemax all wormers are small, easy to administer tablets for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal worms in dogs over 5kg.
Controls all major intestinal worms including
- roundworm (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina),
- hookworm (Ancylstoma caninum, Ancylstoma braziliense),
- whipworm (Trichuris vulpis)
- and tapeworm (Echinococcus granulosus, Diplylidium caninum, Taenia spp.)
In addition when given monthly Milbemax will prevent heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) in dogs and puppies over 2 weeks of age.
Unwormed puppies are at risk of developing gastrointestinal problems like diarrhoea and vomiting, poor growth, anaemia and even death. To avoid this they should be wormed every 2 weeks from 2 to 12 weeks of age, then monthly until they are at least 6 months old. Adult dogs require treatment for worms at least every 3 months.
Safe for treatment of puppies over 0.5kg from 2 weeks of age, as well as pregnant and lactating females.
