Important Customer Updates About COVID-19 and Petyou

Face Masks: When visiting our store please ensure to wear a mask while shopping instore. This will help to protect you, our customers and our staff.

Sanitise Hands: Upon entry to our store please use hand sanitisers located within our store.

Store capacity management: We are restricting the number of people (staff and customers) allowed in store at any given time. A maximum of 3 people at any time will be allowed in store. This will comply with the Government recommendations on social distancing. Please follow staff direction when visiting our store front.

Delivery time frame of orders: Please allow an additional 2 business days on top of normal delivery for delivery of all online orders. Due to COVID-19 delivery partners are experiencing a higher than usual demand for their services. This is due to a reduction in freight capacity, a significant increase in parcels volumes and hygiene and social distancing requirements in their workplace.

Delivery to VIC may experience a slight additional delay on delivery due to the introduction of stage 4 restrictions. Our delivery partners are classified as a "Permitted Work Premise" and will continue to operate with on-site operations but with a reduced workforce.

Petyou remains open, this includes our storefront and online store. We have expanded our cleaning routines across our stores, including increased cleaning throughout the day and in between customer visits.

We ask our customers to observe Government recommendations on social distancing whilst in store.  Please observe a minimum distance of 1.5 metres between customers and staff. We ask customers to ensure you wash and or sanitise your hands regularly.

Store hours may vary due to the current pandemic.

With the developing Coronavirus pandemic we ask customers to follow the below temporary rules to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

  • Please use hand sanitiser available on the front counter when you enter our store and before handling any products.
  • Only ONE customer is permitted instore at a time.
  • If someone is in the store, Please wait patiently outside at the front door until staff direct you to enter the store.
  • Please respect social distance between staff and other customers, maintain 1.5m between people.

The Petyou team have completed the Australian Government Department of Health e-learning course for "Infection Control Training - COVID 19".

In Store Changes

To maintain health and safety of customers and staff during the developing COVID-19 situation, we ask customers to follow the government health advice of maintaining social distancing while visiting our boutique store in Waterloo.

Petyou has implemented the following temporary changes. 

  • Please try to ensure a space of 2m is maintained from people while shopping in store. This helps keep safe distance between people as per government health advice. 
  • Please sanitise hands on entry to store with hand gel provided at counter. Ask staff if unsure.
  • Where possible we would ask customers to shop online via our web store www.petyou.com.au

Store Trading Hours, Deliveries and Click & Collect

Petyou is open and our team is ready to help with all your dog care needs. Store hours may vary due to he current situation and we ask customers to check here for daily updated opening times.

Our deliveries and click and collect options are operating as normal. We are closely monitoring updates from the Australian Government and should anything change, we will notify customers.

Online delivery

Please allow an additional 1-2 business days for delivery of all online orders. We are experiencing a higher than usual demand for online services as are our delivery partners.

When In-store 

We ask our customers to observe Government recommendations on social distancing whilst in store.  Please observe a minimum distance of 1.5 metres between customers and staff. We ask customers to ensure you wash and or sanitise your hands regularly.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, you may also choose to shop online and use the convenience of our various delivery and click and collect options. Please email info@petyou.com.au or call 0468883647 and we can assist with an online purchase. 

If you are feeling unwell or think you may have been in contact with a person infected with COVID-19 then we ask that you please do not attend our store but use our online services. We can deliver direct to your door.

Focus on hygiene

On-top of our normal rigorous cleaning, We have increased our cleaning routines within our store, including increased cleaning throughout the day. 

Our team members have had additional training on maintaining good hygiene practices.

You may notice team members sanitise their hands during transactions or dealings with customers, this is for their safety and yours.

Payment options

For the time being our preferred payment method is via debit or credit card through our touchless payment terminals. (Don’t worry we can still accept cash if this is your preferred payment method)
